Flexible study

Our BAs offer entry points in either September (with the introductory term in Florence) or January. Depending on the pathway you choose, September entrants can complete in 8 or 9 terms, graduating either at the end of the Summer Term in your second year or in December. January entrants all take the BA programme over 8 terms and finish in December.

Uniquely, Buckingham has a 4-term year, so you will normally complete your BA Honours in 2 years (or 2 years and a term if you follow the September entry 9-term pathway).

It is also possible to transfer 240 credits from another institution to complete your degree at Buckingham.  More information.

For students who may want to work while studying, or who have caring responsibilities, we can also offer the option of part-time study over 3 years. Other options may be available by agreement with the Programme Director. At Buckingham we do our best to accommodate you.
