We accept applications via UCAS too. However, if you apply direct you can often secure your place at university ahead of the crowds. Whichever entry point you choose, you will be part of a whole new student cohort and get to experience induction, Freshers’ Week and the same expert teaching and personal support facilities.

Join the Buckingham community this September

There is a real sense of community at The University of Buckingham, and students are known by their name, not a number.

Every student at Buckingham is assigned a personal tutor: these are members of academic staff who are here to support you from the day you start your course to the day you complete it. You can also speak to our Wellbeing, Skills and Diversity team for other personalised support.

Our Students’ Union are also here to make sure you have the best possible experience at Buckingham. They help students to build friendships, pursue their passions and make lifelong memories. They’ll make sure your interests are at the heart of new University policy and decisions, as well as running campaigns and raising awareness on the issues that matter most. They also organise plenty of chances to socialise with events and activities happening every week like karaoke evenings, BBQs, themed parties, and cultural days.

The Explore Our University section below is packed with everything you need to know about studying at Buckingham; where we are located, what's here on campus and in the town, our accommodation, social activities, and what it's like to study here. All shown by our staff and students themselves.
