The University of Buckingham Campus

Campus Tours

We’re delighted that we’re able to offer in-person tours of both our Buckingham and Crewe campuses. Visiting a campus can be one of the most important decision-making tools when choosing a university.

What will a guided tour cover?

Our 45-60 minute campus tours are conducted by our experienced Student Ambassadors. We do our best to match you up with a Student Ambassador studying your chosen subject and they will take you to the most relevant spaces. They will answer all your questions about studying and life at The University of Buckingham.

Which campuses can I visit?

We run tours at both our Buckingham and Crewe campuses.

Buckingham campus

Our Buckingham campus is in the heart of south-east England, situated in between Oxford and Cambridge, nestled in a bend of the Great River Ouse. The campus runs across three sites: Hunter Street, Chandos Road and Verney Park, with accommodation close to each of these.

Hunter Street is our main site and is where you can find the Students’ Union building, bar and restaurant, and other student facilities. We have plenty of study spaces: from quiet areas in the Hunter Street Library to group working areas in the Vinson Building.

Chandos Road is the home to our Medical School. It is adjacent to the main campus and contains teaching, studying and academic spaces for our medics.

Our Verney Park site is just a 15-minute walk from Hunter Street. If you are based here, all of your course materials will be located on-site at the Franciscan Library, or can be found online.

Crewe campus

At our Crewe campus, approximately 125 miles from Buckingham in the north of England, the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health teaches a range of health programmes including medicine (also taught in Buckingham), biomedical science and postgraduate medicine.

At Crewe, our campus facilities, teaching and research are all based on one site. Our safe and inclusive campus environment and the student-friendly town provide everything you need to make the most of your university experience.

The campus is well connected to the nearby town of Crewe with a bus service running regularly to the centre and train station, with the student accommodation is just a five-minute walk from the lecture theatres.
