The University of Buckingham has been shortlisted for the Whatuni Student Choice Awards (#WUSCA) in the two most prestigious categories.

Buckingham has been nominated in the lectures and courses category and also the student support category.

Vice-Chancellor of The University of Buckingham, Sir Anthony Seldon, said: “We are delighted that so many of our students rate our courses and lectures and student support so highly. If we could rate our students they’d win an award every year”

WUSCA collected a record-breaking 36,423 reviews from students around the UK, up by 10,000 in 2017.

The winner will be announced on 19 April in Central London. The awards are based on reviews submitted by 36,423 students and celebrate 15 categories that include University of the Year, Course and Lectures and City Life. The evening will be presented by well-known stand-up comedian, Katherine Ryan.

Eleni Cashell, Editor of Whatuni, said: “Being nominated for an award is a huge achievement because the only judges at the WUSCAs are the students themselves. It showcases to both prospective students and the higher education sector that your institution offers value for money, provides a good student experience and has a highly satisfied and supported student community.”
