Psychology Taster

Join our webinar this April to get a taste of what it’s like to study Psychology at Buckingham!

What will I experience at this taster?

Themed taster session

Whilst you might be joining online, we want you to be able to get a taste of what it is like to be a Psychology student! So, we’ll be hosting a themed taster for you to experience.

This taster’s theme is: Read all about it! Why do people fall for Fake News?

In a world full of rapidly-changing and viral information, knowing how to separate fact from fiction is a superpower.

Fake news and misinformation are, sadly, becoming more and more of a problem for society. Dr Philip Fine will be giving an overview of what fake news is, why people tend to believe and share it, and what, if anything, we can do about it.

Finding out more about Psychology at Buckingham

Participating in this taster session not only provides you with the chance to explore our unique tutorial model and flexible study options, but also explains the convenience of two entry points, and the possibility to complete your degree in just two years. During the session, you’ll gain insights into the accreditation of our BSc Psychology degree by the British Psychological Society, and delve into the specifics of our unique modules covering all seven areas of practitioner psychology.

Please note that this is a live, online event. To attend, please register to receive a link to this event. A recording will be available on request following the event.
