The University of Buckingham is offering two full-fee student bursaries to incoming undergraduate students this September. Bursaries are a great way for students to finance their studies, and can give them a real chance of achieving their potential.

To be eligible to apply for a bursary students will need to accept any offer of an undergraduate place at Buckingham and in the case of UCAS applications, select Buckingham as your firm acceptance choice. Priority will be given to students on maximum student support or to those who can demonstrate financial need. Priority will also be given to applicants coming from within a 25-miles radius of Buckingham.

Vice-Chancellor of The University of Buckingham. Professor Terence Kealey says: “By providing the bursaries, the University hopes to attract candidates who would otherwise struggle to find the finance for a Buckingham education. We would like local people from North Buckinghamshire and the vicinity, who already hold an offer from the University, to apply.”

Applications should be sent to the Director of External Affairs and Development by 22 April 2011, and decisions will be made in early May.
