Life in the Law School

The Law School, working with UBLS (the University of Buckingham Law Society) are famous for putting on all kinds of great events throughout the year. If you come to Buckingham and join us here at the Law School you’ll find there are loads of activities to get involved in, both cerebral and social. Whether it’s the Law School Ball, moots (mock courtroom situations), Sports Day, debates, revues, talks, various absurdly themed parties, or one of the many other events, there is bound to be something that appeals to you.

The University of Buckingham Law Society is a student run organisation with postgraduate and undergraduate members from the University. They work hard to bring Law School staff and students together on both an academic and social level. The Law Society organise the annual Law Ball, which is always very well attended and is one of the highpoints in the University calendar. They also organise weekly Mooting Competitions and act as hosts to visiting speakers at the University.
