Residential Assistants (RA’s) are students with particular responsibilities who live in student accommodation.
They are there to make you feel welcome and help you settle in.
They will hold house meetings each term to go over house rules, health and safety matters and to help with any questions/concerns you may have.
They will also
- Assist in your care and well-being
- Deal with and amicably settle minor complaints
- Encourage you to keep your home clean and tidy
- Act as a communication channel between the residents and the University.
If there is anything they cannot deal with, they can point you towards the accommodation team, security and the students first department if needed.
