Apply for Accommodation
We are currently making room offers for January 2021.
Room offers are made, (in the order they are received,) to applicants who have ‘Unconditional Firm’ offers.
Please make sure that you have read and understood our accommodation terms and conditions before you apply and accept a place in University accommodation. You will be entering into a legally binding contract for which there is no opt-out clause. Unless there are serious extenuating circumstances, you will be financially liable for the whole duration of your contract.
All new accommodation contracts are for one academic year.
The Security Bond
All students who stay in University owned accommodation must pay a £700 security bond. This is refundable when you move out of the accommodation, minus any accommodation debt and/or accommodation charges.
Your Room Offer
Your room offer is valid for 10 days. If you want us to hold the room for you then you must make a payment of either the security bond, the first terms rent, or both, before your room offer expires.
Collecting your Keys
Before you can collect your keys you must have paid the £700 security bond and the first terms rent. We would prefer you to make these payments by card via the online accommodation portal.
Although the following information is currently accurate it may be subject to change depending upon the current pandemic and therefore it is advisable to check this page from time to time.
Book your arrival slot with the Accommodation Office once the national lockdown has been lifted and you are permitted to travel to University. We will ensure your keys and paperwork are ready for you. We all look forward to meeting you in the near future. Stay safe!
If I pay an Accommodation Security Bond or my first terms rent but can’t commence my studies with you due to Covid-19 related reasons, will I get a full refund?
Yes as we know the next few months still hold a lot of uncertainty. If you can’t begin your studies with us or you are unable to travel to the UK in January 2021 due to the pandemic, then let us know (outlining the reasons why the situation has impacted your ability to commence your course) and, providing you have a valid reason, we will refund any money you have paid. Then simply re-apply for a new room when you are able to join us.
- All of our rooms are fully furnished.
- Please bring you own bedding and towels – these are not provided by the University
- There are kettles, microwaves and toasters in the kitchens but you will need to bring your own pots, pans and crockery.
Please contact the Accommodation Office if you have any questions. Contact us.
