Levelling Up: Computer Science
The School of Computing at University of Buckingham is pleased to be delivering the Levelling Up: Computer Science programme, developed and endorsed by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
This programme connects universities with young people who identify as women or non-binary, aiming to unlock their potential in Computer Science and support progression to higher education and digital careers.
The programme includes:
- Five academic sessions in Computer Science delivered online (five days)
- Four enrichment and university engagement sessions, delivered in person at University of Buckingham (one day)
- Opportunities to build confidence, subject knowledge, and insight into studying Computer Science at university
Levelling Up: Computer Science provides a valuable opportunity for our women undergraduates in computing to develop their teaching and leadership skills while inspiring the next generation of computing students.
