How to apply – undergraduate study
We welcome applications to our undergraduate courses in two different ways – through UCAS or directly via our online application form.
If you apply direct, you can apply up until shortly before classes start.
If you’re interested in transferring to Buckingham from another university, then please get in touch using the form below and someone from our Admissions team will be in contact to talk through your options. All students must have reached the age of 17 by the date of their first registration.

Apply via UCAS
You can make Buckingham one of your choices on UCAS. The UCAS platform enables you to apply to up to five universities or courses in the one place. Our UCAS code is B90.
If you apply through UCAS, they will send you a notification via an email alert once an offer has been made.
To accept your offer via UCAS, you need to go to Track to make your replies.
Deadlines will be visible in Track.
The University will be represented at many of the UCAS fairs through the year, details of which can be found on our Event Pages.
Apply to us directly
Alternatively, you can apply directly through our website by clicking the ‘apply’ button at the top of the course page.
There’s no fee, and you can apply at any time during the year: we’re usually able to accept direct applications right up until shortly before a course starts. Ideally you should apply by the following dates:
- September 2020 start: apply by 9 September 2020 for UK/EU students or 31 August 2020 for international students needing a Student visa.
- January 2021 start: apply by 31 November 2020.*
*Note: Medicine MB ChB has September deadline for January entry.
