Buckingham has come 16th out of 120 institutions in The Guardian’s 2013 league table. This is the first time the University of Buckingham has been placed in The Guardian’s main league table (we previously appeared in their specialist tables).
2012, was another good year for the University in the comparative rankings. We came top in the National Student Survey out of all universities in the UK (based on question 22 ‘overall I am satisfied with the quality of the course’) reflecting our small group teaching and nurturing approach to students and comes in the survey organised by the Higher Education Funding Council to keep its finger on the student pulse.

Position at subject level
Because of Buckingham’s small size, in many instances our departments are not large enough to receive an individual ranking in the national newspaper league tables. We have however been included in the following:

| Business | 34th | 28th (out of 116) | 89th (out of 98) |
