About the scholarship
A unique scholarship to mark the University’s 50th anniversary, available to UK undergraduate students studying one of our leading undergraduate courses.
This scholarship is worth a 50% reduction in tuition fees and will be awarded to a limited number of candidates who best demonstrate their alignment with our core values: Independence, Innovation, Free speech & open inquiry.
We require applicants to submit a portfolio of 3-5 pieces of evidence to show academic readiness and alignment with our values. At least two of these should show your development over time (e.g. the version history of a piece of your academic work; draft + feedback + revision) and each must include a short, structured annotation (max 150 words) evidencing context and learning.

To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates need to:
- be a UK national
- hold an offer to study one of the matched courses below
- send their portfolio to admissions@buckingham.ac.uk
Matched courses
To qualify for the scholarship, an application to one of the programmes listed below is required.

Applications for this scholarship need to be submitted before Thursday 30 April 2026, 5pm.
