Students who successfully complete our BSc in Accounting and Finance are also eligible to apply for exemptions from many accounting professional bodies, such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

The accounting and finance degree programme provides a great platform for a career in the accounting and finance sectors, by giving graduates wishing to become accredited accountants a ‘fast-track’ route to achieve their qualification. Our graduates regularly join the accountancy programmes at international professional services firms, including Deloitte, Grant Thornton and PwC.
The skills developed on the degree will also serve as a basis for a career in business management, banking, financial services and consultancy.

We have strong links with local accountancy firms including PwC and Grant Thornton across Buckinghamshire and have ongoing internships opportunities available for undergraduate students.
The Institute of International Monetary Research, based at the University of Buckingham, also offers paid internships to students that have an interest in the financial and banking sectors.
