Current Research

We are working to develop specialised training courses and conferences based on our knowledge, experience and research, aimed at improving the quality of dyslexia/neurodiverse support from educators in Post-16, Further and Higher Education Institutions across the UK and internationally.

Ongoing Research

  • Ryan Kerstein from Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, ‘The incidence of dyslexia in surgeons and the dyslexia appropriateness of medical and surgical exams based on established metrics’. The hypothesis is that the incidence of dyslexia is higher in surgeons than the general population.
  • Mindscreen: In collaboration with the The University of Buckingham Enterprise & Innovation Unit (BEIU), current research is focusing on the relationship between dyslexic thinking and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Hongbo Du is aiming to develop a MSc in Data Science course focusing on AI & Dyslexia/Specific Learning Differences assessments and using machine learning for helping diagnosis of dyslexia.
  • Shoo Media: Working on a feasibility study for an AI/machine learning tool to aid dyslexic creatives.
