The University of Buckingham is proud never to have accepted Government funding, favouring instead its academic independence. For our students, this means that we are free to uphold the liberal ideal upon which we were founded, teach what our academics choose to teach, and put our students first ahead of targets and budgets.
Because of this, our fee structure is different from that of state-run universities, and also means that all of our undergraduate degrees are just two years long, so students make an enormous saving on their living expenses, and can start earning a year earlier.
