Visit of His Excellency Dr Mohammed Faisal, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, at The University of Buckingham

It was a tremendous honour to receive His Excellency Dr Mohammed Faisal, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, at The University of Buckingham.

Dr Faisal delivered a fascinating perspective on recent tensions in South Asia, and notably the military clash with India following the Kashmir terrorist attack in May. In a meeting hosted by Professor Julian Richards, the Director of BUCSIS, he also spoke about the Pakistani community in the UK and their contribution to British life.

The visit was arranged by BUCSIS’s South and South East Asia Security Research Centre (SSEASRC) and was a great treat for students, staff, and members of the local community.
