Carmen Rivera-Galicia is an Admissions Tutor for Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) programmes. She started working at Buckingham in 2000. She teaches Spanish at all levels. She has also taught at Leicester University, De Montfort University and the Complutense University in Madrid, Spain. She has teacher training and is hoping to finish her PhD dissertation Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition sooner rather than later! Her professional interests lie in the teaching and learning of foreign language(s) and in the use of new technologies for the teaching and learning of second languages. She is now working on improving the provision of CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) materials for the use of MFL students.
