Kirsty Leigh has worked in finance all her working life and has experience over many areas of Finance, including Senior Management. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts (CIMA). Although Buckingham is her first Higher Education appointment, the experience from the business world puts her in the right mindset to drive the University forwards with the right focus.
Her philosophy in life is to Challenge her limits instead of Limiting her Challenges, and the work performed at The University to date has certainly tested this. The work of the team to date has transformed Finance into a more results driven environment where the procedures and policies are key. With a great team behind her there is much we can do to drive the University’s mission forwards.
