Luna is the Preliminary Lead for Business programmes at the Business School and also serves as a Link Tutor for the School’s collaborative partners across several European countries. She is the Chair of the Business School Assessment, Learning and Teaching Committee.

She leads modules in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and also teaches across a range of subjects, including Cross-Cultural Management, Marketing, and Research Methods. Prior to joining The University of Buckingham, Luna worked in the hospitality industry and taught a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate modules at several higher education institutions.

Originally from an Engineering background, Luna completed her Master’s degree with Distinction in International Hotel and Tourism Management at Oxford Brookes University. She was awarded a full scholarship for her PhD research, which explored community engagement in social entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on Kenya. Her research examined how international social enterprises can build and sustain trusting, reciprocal relationships with culturally distant communities, offering important implications for both practice and policy.

Luna also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education with Distinction and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Through continuous reflection on her teaching practice and a strong commitment to pedagogical development, she aims to create a distinctive and engaging learning experience for her students.

Luna serves as an External Examiner for Keele University and Birmingham City University.
