Ed Clements has over 20 years’ experience of implementing lean in both Service and Manufacturing in many sectors ranging from Forensic Science to heavy engineering. Prior to his current role, Ed was a Lead Practitioner at The Manufacturing Institute and instrumental in the first regional BERR Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS). Before that Ed worked across Europe for the global consultancy company Kaizen® Institute.
Ed learnt about Lean Principles as Kaizen Manager at automotive supplier Metallifacture Ltd when the company won General Motors Supplier of the Year award for 6 years running. He is a contributor on the Lean Leadership Master’s degree at The University of Buckingham. Ed has a Lean Manufacturing Master’s degree and BEng (Hons) in Manufacturing Engineering from Nottingham University.
