University top of the class for graduate prospectsThe University of Buckingham is top for graduate prospects, according to new figures released by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).

The number of students taking first degrees who got jobs in 2012/13 is 97.3%, which is the highest ranking in England among non-specialist universities.

University of Buckingham Pro Vice-Chancellor David Billington said: “We are delighted to be top again this year. This shows that fast-track two year degrees lead to the best employment prospects in the country.“

The HESA results show that The University of Buckingham beats Oxford and Cambridge when it comes to graduate prospects. Employers often say the reason for choosing University of Buckingham graduates above others is that they are impressed with candidates who have done a degree in two years.

The University of Buckingham has also led the National Student Survey since 2006 and is the safest campus in England, according to the The Complete University Guide.
