On Tuesday 11 August the new chair of Ofsted, David Hoare, invited Professor Glees to a private meeting to discuss his work and thoughts on Islamist extremism and radicalisation in the UK education system.

On Wednesday 12 August Professor Glees was invited to call on the High Commissioner of Belize, Ms Perla Perdomo, in London. They spoke about BUCSIS and its research and she accepted an outline invitation to come and visit us in Prebend House in the near future.

On Thursday 13 August Professor Glees attended a briefing under the Chatham House Rule at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London.

Professor Glees was also interviewed by LBC radio about the 70th anniversary of VJ Day and current security concerns.
