Simon Fanshawe OBE
Simon is the co-founder of Diversity by Design. He is Chairman of Hexagon Housing and on the Board of Powerful Women. His latest book is “The Power of Difference – where the complexities of diversity and inclusion meet practical solutions”, published by Kogan Page. It is this year’s Chartered Management Institues’s (CMI) Business Book of the Year. He was also voted HR Magazine’s Second Most influential Thinker of the year.
He co-founded Stonewall. He has long been involved in campaigns for equality and positive social change and has served on the Board of companies and organisations in the private and charity sectors for over thirty-five years. He was awarded the OBE in 2013 and in the same year an Honorary Doctorate from Sussex University. He lives in Brighton with his husband and they have neither children nor dogs.
