Education Alumni Reunion

We are delighted to invite you to the first-ever School of Education Alumni Networking event at The University of Buckingham – a special occasion to reconnect, celebrate (over 20 years!) and build new relationships within our community of educators.

This inaugural event brings together graduates from across the years to share stories, achievements, and ideas – and to rediscover the spirit that shaped your journey in education. Whether you’re near or far, we’d be honoured to welcome you back.

What to expect on the day

The day is packed with insightful talks and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow alumni. Here’s a quick overview of what you can look forward to:

Registration: Please head to the main entrance upon arrival to check in and receive your welcome pack. Registration will be open from 12.15pm to 12.30pm

Talks and Panels: You will be welcomed by our Dean of the School of Education, Professor Barnaby Lenon. There will be special guest speakers such as Professor Anthony O’Hear, who established The University’s first teacher’s training course back in 2002 and Professor Terence Kealey, the former Vice-Chancellor, who helped to build this entrepreneurial venture from the ground up.

Networking: We have dedicated lunch for networking where you can meet speakers and connect with other alumni.

Campus Tour: We will be providing a campus tour to close the event.
