The University of Buckingham’s Digital Health Symposium is an annual event, convened by the School of Computing, to contribute to conversations on and around topical issues in the world of digital health.
The symposium presents a forum for the convergence of policy makers, implementers, academia and industry. It is hoped the symposium will provoke and inspire wider discussions on these themes, as the university’s School of Computing joins other stakeholders to arm and capacitate the health workforce to face the challenges of our increasingly digitalized-health system.
This 2019 session of the symposium will be a half-day event, with the theme The future of health. It will feature expert panel discussions and Q&A with the audience. The panels will explore the impact of artificial intelligence, big data and immersive technologies on medicine and healthcare.
The Symposium will end with a standing lunch, for networking.
