WHY SPORTS LEADERSHIP
Are you ready to become the next big leader in sport? At the University of Buckingham’s Institute of Sports Humanities, our MA in Leadership in Sport has been designed for the next generation of leaders: from players, to captains, entrepreneurs, and even the sports media.
Led by the England Cricket Selector, Ed Smith , the sports leadership degree explores how sport has developed into the third biggest industry in the world, examining issues such as cheating, doping, match-fixing and fair competition.
In this London-based, one-year course, you will gain knowledge from some of the most experienced sports leaders in the UK. It will cover a range of modules, including the sports industry and entrepreneurship; sports governance, ethics and research methods; management and decision-making; globalisation; the sporting event and society.
The programme will combine taught academic content and talks from leading industry professionals, along with independent research.
