University of Buckingham leads the way for student satisfaction, according to the National Student Survey (NSS)

The University of Buckingham is once again leading the way for student satisfaction, National Student Survey (NSS) results reveal.

University of Buckingham Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Alistair Alcock said: “We are delighted to be leading the NSS this year once again for the ninth year running. Our philosophy is to put students first and these results show that students appreciate this personal attention.”

The University of Buckingham scored 92%, well above the UK national average of 86% for higher education institutions (HEIs), which puts the university equal fourth in terms of student satisfaction (excluding small and specialist Higher Education Institute providers).

The NSS, now in its tenth year, provides all final year undergraduate students in UK higher education institutions and further education colleges with the opportunity to express their opinions on what they liked during their time at university.

The results of the national survey provide valuable information for prospective students, and help universities, colleges and students’ unions to further improve the education and services they provide.

Programme level NSS data is available on the Discover Uni website, and further information about the scores can be sought from the Quality Assurance Manager by emailing pearl.lewis@buckingham.ac.uk.
