  • the policy of airstrikes on the IS in Syria (before the vote in Parliament was cast) on the BBC TV News Channel’s Seven O’Clock News. Professor Glees was also interviewed on the same topic by BBC Oxford and was the studio guest on BBC Three Counties Radio with Diane Abbott.

Professor Glees was one of a small group of academics invited to the Home Office to a confidential roundtable discussion on the Government’s proposed new interception of communications legislation. Amongst the officials present were Professor Bernard Silverman FRS, the chief scientific advisor to the Home Office.
