Miss Usher has recently joined the School of Law having previously taught at undergraduate and postgraduate level at Liverpool John Moores University. Miss Usher was awarded a First Class LLB from Liverpool John Moores University in 2013. She was later awarded a Distinction in her LLM in International Business Law from the University of Liverpool in 2015. Miss Usher is currently writing her PhD in Cross-Jurisdictional Corporate Insolvency Law. Miss Usher holds Memberships in The Society of Legal Scholars and The Insolvency Lawyers Association. Additionally, Miss Usher is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Miss Usher teaches both at undergraduate and postgraduate level at the University of Buckingham. Her teaching at undergraduate level includes the Law of Contract, Company Law, Legal Advocacy and Banking Law. At postgraduate level Miss Usher teaches on the Law of Business Organisations. Additionally, Miss Usher is designing and constructing a new module concerning Corporate Rescue and International Insolvency Law. This module will be added to the suite of electives offered on the LLM Programme at the University of Buckingham.
