Graduation is held at Buckingham Parish Church. The ceremony is not religious at all. We hold it in the Church because it is a beautiful building which suits the importance of your ceremony. Everyone is welcome to the Church for Graduation as long as they hold a ticket, with the exception of children under the age of five.
Buckingham Parish Church occupies a prominent position near the centre of the town, the spire being a familiar landmark clearly seen when approaching Buckingham from almost any direction. The church was built on land owned by the town to a classical Georgian design and consecrated in 1781 following the collapse of the medieval church, which stood in its churchyard about 200m from the current location. The chancel and striking nave buttresses were added by Sir Gilbert Scott in 1866. The building is Grade 1 listed. The ancient churchyard around the old church is now closed.

There is limited car parking available at the Island Car Park on Hunter Street campus (a 5 minute walk from the Church) and at Verney Park (a 15 minute walk from the Church). Parking will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. There are additional car parks in the town centre. Assistance with parking will be given to those with special needs. Please contact the Graduation Office to let them know your requirements.
