The Swan Ball
The Swan Ball will take place in the Graduation Marquee on Beloff Lawn on Saturday 18 March 2017 from 22:00 until 06:00.
There will be an abundance of musicians and entertainers to delight and amuse you. They will ensure that all our revelers enjoy a night to remember as you celebrate your Graduation through ’til six in the morning. A professional photographer will be on hand to record the evening and each guest will receive one free photo. Don’t forget that to have really partied, you should stay for the survivors’ photograph at 05:30!
We’re really excited to announce our line up for 2017, with our headline act for this year being Scouting for Girls, with other acts to be announced:

To keep your energy levels up, we’ll be serving a hot buffet from 00:00 – 02:00 which will consist of a substantial array of delights to include Chinese dishes, Indian curries & American options followed by breakfast from 04:00 – 05:00. Will you make it through to the Survivors’ photo at 05:30?
Please note that the Bar will only accept card payments at the Swan Ball. Cash payments will not be available.
Tickets can be purchased as follows:
- Online at Ball tickets order form (until Wednesday 15 March at 23:55)
- In the SU Office on Thursday 16 (all day) and Friday 17 March (until 12:00 noon)
- £45 ‘early bird’ – November – Saturday 31 December 2016
- £55 from 1 January 2017 – Friday 17 March 2017
- £70 on the door
Ticket price includes food throughout the evening; breakfast; chocolate fountains and transport home within Buckingham.
The dress code is dinner jacket / tuxedo & bow tie, cocktail dress or long dress / ball gown. National costume suitable for a black tie function is welcome but anything that may be perceived as a weapon (e.g. the Dirk that is part of the Scots national dress, or any sharp, pointed metallic or glass accessory to national costumes) will be confiscated. These cannot, by law, be returned to the owner on the night. They may, of course, recover them at a later date. Anyone inappropriately dressed will be refused entry (no denim or trainers etc., men must wear a tie).

R&R Taxis will provide a free mini bus shuttle service from the road-end of the Marquee to take you home anywhere within Buckingham. The service runs from 02:00 – 06:30.
