If you would like to apply for more tickets, please email Rebecca Taylor-Hayward on or after 1 February 2020 (when the online confirmation has closed).

Confirm you are coming to graduation.

The ceremony

Seating in the Church is strictly on a first come, first served basis. No children under the age of 5 will be permitted in the Church. However, they are welcome in the Vinson Building for the reception following the Ceremonies but will require a ticket.

There is no admittance into the Church once the Ceremony has started and latecomers will not be able to participate in the ceremony. It will also not be possible to admit graduands to the Church if they have not signed in with Registry in the Chandos Road Building and collected their academic dress.

Reception

The graduation reception will take place in the Vinson Building after your ceremony has finished. Entry for the graduate is free. Each graduate can purchase up to two tickets at a cost of £20 per head for their guests to join them at the reception. Reception ticket holders will be entitled to:

  • Afternoon tea buffet
  • A drink

If you would like to apply for more tickets, please email Rebecca Taylor-Hayward on or after 1 February 2020 (when the online confirmation has closed).

Additional tickets may be released for sale in late February subject to availability.

Buy your guest reception tickets.

Signing-in

You must sign-in with Registry in the Chandos Road Building on graduation day. You cannot be presented to the Vice-Chancellor unless you have done so.

Tickets can be collected in person on the day of graduation for the graduation ceremony and the graduation reception. Entry to both is strictly by ticket only for both graduands and guests. It is important that you confirm your attendance to avoid disappointment.

Please ensure that you arrive at the Church at least 30 minutes before your ceremony is due to start.
