Claire Stultiens, Lecturer in French at the University of Buckingham, top UK university for student satisfactionClaire completed her tertiary education at the University of Kingston (bi-lingual Commercial Studies) and the Sorbonne (Advanced French and French culture). She followed this with a business career, starting in Paris and continuing in London, and did translation projects for the BBC and the Open University. Her next post was tutoring adults for GCSE French for Buckinghamshire County Council which provided teacher training. Claire then moved on to the University of Buckingham to enjoy the stimulating company of colleagues from the language teams and to teach French, English as a Foreign Language and, latterly, Translation Skills and Methods to interesting students from all over the world.
