Bev joined the University of Buckingham in February 2016 to manage the 40th Anniversary Programme and associated events.  She was appointed as Head of Development Services in November 2016, with responsibility for all business elements of Development & Fundraising, as well as delivery of large-scale events, VIP visits and the overseas travel programme.

Prior to joining the University, she worked at Network Rail in their Human Resources organisation where she specialised in training, professional development, employee engagement, engineering capability and higher education.  Prior to that she had an 18-year career in the Ministry of Defence with roles in British-American International Relations as a Senior Community Relations Adviser and in the RAF Management Consultancy Branch as a Senior Management Consultant.  She is a member of the Association of Corporate Governance Practitioners, is PRINCE2 and Management of Risk qualified and is a trained facilitator.  She has an interest in British History and serves as a Trustee of The Old Gaol Museum Buckingham.
