Jonathan Paris is a London-based analyst specialising in comparative politico-economic systems and national security. His diverse geographic research interests include Africa, the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia, Europe and transatlantic relations. He is a non-resident Senior Fellow with the Atlantic Council in Washington, D.C., and Associate Fellow at the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation at King’s College London.
Prior to moving to London in 2001, he was a Middle East Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. A former Senior Associate Member at St Antony’s College, Oxford, he is a graduate of Yale, where he studied comparative political and economic systems.
