Carlos Bellorin is a Senior Petroleum Analyst, IHS (PEPS – Petroleum Economics and Policy Solutions). Carlos focuses on the analysis of Latin America’s oil and gas legal, fiscal and contractual frameworks and in designing legal and contractual risk mitigation strategies. In the past he has been a legal advisor to oil and gas companies and in-house counsel for two multi-billion Orinoco Oil Belt Projects in Venezuela. He is a lawyer graduated from the Universidad Catolica ‘Andres Bello’and holds a LLM in Petroleum Law and Policy from the University of Dundee (CEPMLP). He has been a guest lecturer in Petroleum Law and Policy in Latin America in several universities in the UK.
