Friends at 40

The University of Buckingham is celebrating its 40th Anniversary in 2016, and a programme of events is being planned to celebrate our outstanding history and achievements. We’ll be remembering years gone by, and showcasing our exciting plans for the future. As part of the celebration weekend on 16 and 17 July 2016, The Friends of the University of Buckingham are sponsoring a History Walk around the campus, with speakers stationed in our historic buildings to tell the story of the University’s history, and an accompanying guide booklet with facts and anecdotes. We need your help to make it a success!

We need your memories, stories, photographs, maps, and most importantly, your knowledge of the history of the University, as well as the development of the campus and its buildings over the years. These will all help us to make the tour an event to remember.

If you’d like to be involved in the tour, you’re a local historian, or you can share your knowledge and memories, please get in touch with Pearl Lewis, University Liaison Link to the Friends on:
