The Aylesbury Vale District Council Business Enterprise Scholarship has been postponed to 2010. If you are interested in applying for this scholarship, please contact nigel.adams@buckingham.ac.uk.

Do you have a budding business idea, want to study for a business degree and get the chance to start up and run your own business?

If so, this 2-year scholarship competition, worth over £17,000*, sponsored by Aylesbury Vale District Council, could be for you.

Aylesbury Vale District Council will pay the fees of the winner of this competition to study for a BSc Business Enterprise honours degree at the University of Buckingham. For information about this unique programme, please see: business/bbe/

To be eligible to enter the scholarship competition, you need to be a resident of Aylesbury Vale and be able to demonstrate why you need a scholarship.

You then have to think about your idea for a business, write a business plan** and submit it to the Buckingham Business School before 31 July 2009. If you are selected, you will present your idea in front of the Buckingham Angels venture capital panel during Buckingham Enterprise Day on 9 September 2009.

To find out more, contact Nigel Adams, Programme Director, BSc Business Enterprise, or email bbe@buckingham.ac.uk.

* Full tuition fees will be paid based on the undergraduate tuition fee levels for home students (currently £17,280* for students starting the BSc Business Enterprise in January 2010).
