International students - entry requirements

English language

You must have a sufficiently high standard of English language to enable you to cope with the course:

IELTS at 6.0 (or 6.5 for Law and all postgraduate programmes)

TOEFL at 550+ or 213 on the new computer-based system (577 or 233 for Law and all postgraduate programmes)

If you have not reached this level you can follow one of our English language foundation programmes. We can accept students from a level of 4.0 IELTS.

Academic

We have many years experience in evaluating applications from students living outside the EU . We accept a wide range of overseas qualifications, for example:

Australia	School leaving qualifications that meet the matriculation requirements of Australian universities
Bermuda	Associate degree or two years at US university
Bahamas	Associate degree
Hong Kong	Advanced level certificate accepted at UK A-level equivalent grades
India	Indian HSC (Standard XII) with two distinctions and two firsts from five subjects
Israel	Bagrut with 7
Malaysia	STPM accepted at UK A-level equivalent grades
Nigeria	OND or a minimum of two years successful completion of Bachelor degree
Pakistan	BA / BSc / BComm (Second division or above)
Singapore	Singapore / Cambridge A-level accepted at UK A-level equivalent grades
Switzerland	Maturita at 5
Taiwan	Junior College Diploma
USA	SAT score of 1250 or three subjects in Advance Placement Test with 4 in each or completion of one year in US university with a GPA of at least 3.0
