What is Athens?
Athens is the name of the service used to authorise users for access to online resources such as e-books, e-journals and online databases. Athens is not a database.
Most of the electronic resources provided by the Library, if accessed from University computers, do not require Athens authorisation. However, you will require an Athens username and password if you access them from non-University computers.
Students or staff members who wish to request an Athens username and password should email library@buckingham.ac.uk or ask at the desk of either library. Please note that Athens usernames and passwords are for your own personal use only and must not be shared with others.
Check the databases available via Athens above.
