Email policy

All users of the University’s email services are bound (in addition to the Use of University computers and data networks (PDF 33 KB) and the JANET Acceptable Use Policy) by the University’s Email Policy (PDF 44 KB). Please make sure you are familiar with your responsibilities under the policy.

Electronic mail – non-University computers

You can access email from off-campus or when using your laptop and the WIA service by connecting to our Webmail service at https://webmail.buckingham.ac.uk/.

Electronic mail – Microsoft Outlook 2007 from University computers

Outlook 2007 is available from the standard student desktop

(see Starting Outlook 2007).

Additionally, you can access your email via the Webmail service as you can when off-campus (refer to the ‘Electronic mail – non-University computers’ section above). The Web-based service is similar to the popular Hotmail facility, though much more useful for your studies.

Important information will be sent to students at their University email accounts, all students must check their email regularly in order to access this information.
