Centre for Automotive Management

The Centre for Automotive Management at the University of Buckingham Business School was established in 2007 by Professor Peter N C Cooke. Professor Cooke has retired from the Business School as full time Professor of Automotive Management, but we are pleased to announce that his relationship with Buckingham continues as Professor Emeritus. Peter is currently working on a range of automotive industry focused research and publications, presenting forums and teaching.

Professional / Executive Development & Training

The Centre provides education and training tailored to the needs of the automotive industry and more specifically to individual companies. Consultancy & Research

The Centre has a thriving consultancy activity across a number of industry sectors. Some topics are highly sensitive commercially and precautions are always taken to protect data and client confidentiality. As well as its in-house expertise, it is able to call on the support of the Business School faculty, Visiting Fellows and industry specialists with whom the team has worked over many years.

It maintains close relations across the global automotive industry and enjoys a high profile in the press in both the UK and Europe. It is thus able to assist clients in gaining exposure and testing new products and services with targeted audiences.

In addition to providing industry specific survey, research, consultancy and publication services the Centre also coordinate a popular series of Automotive Forums which stimulate debate and interest in topical and emerging automotive industry issues.
