NSS 2010: CAN WE DO IT AGAIN?

Terence Kealey with Buckingham students at the launch of the National Student Survey 2010

Monday 8 February 2010

Once again Buckingham is taking part voluntarily in the National Student Survey (NSS), which starts here today. We recognise its value as an indicator of the quality of the students' learning experience and are proud of our achievement in coming top for the past 4 years.

The NSS is not an independent, external judgement about the quality of the University of Buckingham learning experience. The results represent the views of our own students. We are fiercely proud of our independence but we are also aware of the need to continuously enhance their learning experience. The NSS feedback is used to improve the quality of our teaching, assessment and feedback and the academic support provided through our small group teaching and personal, one-to-one advice and guidance.

We thank our students for taking part in the survey and hope our previous success can be repeated in 2010.
