BOSTON AND BUCKINGHAM: A NEW PARTNERSHIP

Tuesday 25th November 2003

On Monday 27th October a new partnership was forged between the University of Buckingham and EUSA (European Study Abroad), which is affiliated with Boston University of Massachusetts.

The aim of this partnership is twofold:

  • Buckingham students will be given the opportunity to complete work placements in a wide range of areas and locations and to study abroad through an extensive European network maintained by EUSA.
  • More American students will be given the chance to study at Buckingham.

Buckingham students can build on their academic qualifications by gaining valuable work experience in five European cities: London, Paris, Madrid, Dublin and, in 2005, Geneva. Inexpensive, secure accommodation in central London, with Buckingham-in-London student facilities and social programmes, will be available to our students via the University’s new London office.

The new affiliation gives Buckingham a London base, strengthens the University’s links with continental Europe and adds a special American dimension to Buckingham’s existing international profile through association with America’s fourth largest private university, Boston University.
