Disabilities

Whatever your disability we can offer help, support and advice throughout your studies. The University is a member of SKILL (external link), a national UK organisation for the support of disabled students.

All disabled students are advised, where possible, to visit the University for an informal interview. This enables you to see the campus and discuss your individual needs. Where this is not possible we strongly advise you to contact us by telephone or email for a detailed discussion.

Supporting blind & deaf students

Whether you have a partial or total sight or hearing disability, you will be welcomed and cared for at Buckingham.

Disability policy

The University has devised a policy for disabled students.

Wheelchair mobility and personal care

Many of our campus buildings are wheelchair friendly, and we do our best to help you.

Mental health & unseen disability

We assure you of confidentiality and can provide you with support and advice.

Multiple and other disabilities

We are always here to talk to you about your disability, whatever it is.

Disability grants for UK students

UK students who are registered disabled or dyslexic are entitled to a grant.
