WIA - Sign up steps

Interested in getting online with WIA? Follow our 5-step guide:

1. Check that your laptop meets the minimum requirements .
2. Complete and submit the online WIA application form .
3. Collect a WIA CD , Terms of Use and pre-connection checklist from the IT Services helpdesk.
4. At least one full working day later , return your WIA CD and signed checklist and collect your WIA username and password.
5. Follow the instructions for setting up your laptop .

Helping your friends:
We've had a number of enquiries from people who have been lent WIA CDs by friends and told that it was all they needed to use the service. If your friends want to sign up for WIA please refer them to these pages so they can complete the application form (step 2, above). No application form, no access.
