Careers information
Graduates from the Department of International Studies have pursued varied careers as can be seen from the information on our Alumni pages . The Economics and Business Economics programmes are excellent preparation for a career in either the public or private sectors. Some students will proceed to an MBA, others to careers in banking, finance or consultancy. The International Studies programme is useful preparation for a Master's programme in International Relations and thereafter a career in diplomacy or a position in an international agency. All the programmes provide a suitable background for future work in journalism or in education.
