I am on the one-term foundation course. My class has less than 10 people, so they are very friendly. We have classes every day. We study reading, writing, listening, speaking including lectures, presentation skills and we can study our degree course subject. This is a good idea, because we can study before we go to the degree course, so we will have knowledge about the degree course. We often have interviews with our teachers, so we can talk about our problems and then the teacher gives us homework. These kinds of things are very useful for us. I want to go onto a degree course, and then I want to make a lot of friends. |

A friend of my father's recommended a few universities around Oxford, I chose Buckingham and I liked it once I arrived here. Its quiet and peaceful environment makes it rather a good place for study. I'm currently doing a 4-term EFL foundation course. My teachers are not only well-qualified but helpful at all times. Studying in small groups makes the tutorials very focused. After my foundation course, I will be taking a 2-year degree course here. That's another unique element of Buckingham. The intensive 2-year course can either let me start earning earlier, or complete a further year's Master's degree. Of course, you need to be ready for a very hard two years - but as a student, would it matter to study hard? |
