In July 2005 the University of Buckingham signed an Agreement to validate ESE's undergraduate degree programmes in International Business, International Finance and International Marketing, offered in Milan, Lucca, Rome, London and New York. The three undergraduate programmes were rigorously reviewed at an early stage and deemed to be of a standard equivalent to similar courses offered by the University of Buckingham. Moreover, in September 2006 the University validated ESE's MBA programme and in March 2008 its MSc Programmes in Finance, Management and Marketing.

Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST)

In partnership with the University of Buckingham, the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) opened its doors on 1 October 2004. The first private undergraduate institution in Bosnia & Herzegovina welcomed 67 students who are beginning a four-year course to dual degrees.

The University of Buckingham will award a British Bachelor of Science degree to SSST students, who will additionally receive a locally accredited diploma. The new programme is unique to this region and offers majors in one of two computing disciplines and minors in diverse fields such as economics, management, political science and engineering.

The joint venture will allow colleagues from Information Systems to collaborate with their counterparts in Sarajevo in teaching and research projects. It is also hoped that graduates from SSST will come to Buckingham to undertake master's programmes.
