In partnership with the University of Buckingham, the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) opened its doors on 1 October 2004. The first private undergraduate institution in Bosnia & Herzegovina welcomed 67 students who are beginning a four-year course to dual degrees.
The University of Buckingham will award a British Bachelor of Science degree to SSST students, who will additionally receive a locally accredited diploma. The new programme is unique to this region and offers majors in one of two computing disciplines and minors in diverse fields such as economics, management, political science and engineering.
